Where: UNC Charlotte Center City Building (320 E 9th St, Charlotte, NC 28202).
Parking: Parking will not be covered. We recommend using the 7th street parking deck. The pay to park lots near the building are full during week days. Parking is very limited in the area and we suggest that you walk, take the lightrail or carpool if possible. Please refrain from parking in UNCC's parking lots, as you could be ticketed.

How today’s hot technology trends like Blockchain, Machine Learning and Crypto Currency (Bitcoin) are being used for social good and championing human rights projects globally and in your backyard.

Bio:

Founder, CEO, Serial Entrepreneur, Youth Ministry Leader, Human Rights Advocate, Social Impact Entrepreneur and a passion for Decentralized Computing (Blockchain). Ricardo is also an enterprise software executive, cyber security, identity management, cloud and decentralized computing professional with over 22 years of working experience in engineering, consulting, sales, marketing, and business development roles.

As an entrepreneur he has been involved in the launch of 10 start-ups in half of his career. In the High Tech industry he spent over 13 years at Oracle in various roles. He lead global product marketing and business development for all of Oracle’s security products and launched Oracle’s first cloud security services globally.

Today, Ricardo spends his free time with his family, on Lake Norman, surfing, reading, researching decentralized computing and machine learning, as co-founder of Launch LKN’s Blockchain LKN Labs (a Blockchain Interest Group in the Charlotte/Lake Norman area) collaborating, educating and consulting with local community, dedicates Sunday’s to mentoring and being a youth ministry leader and is always focused and a champion of human rights.
