Chief Analytics Officer/SVP Advanced Analytics - American Tire Distributors

TOPIC: How ATD is “Reinventing the Wheel” through Advanced Analytics

ATD is the largest tire distributor in the world and located right next door – in Huntersville, NC. 2018 was ATDs most challenging year competing in an industry where manufacturers are cutting out distributors, where more and more purchases happen online and innovation is just about at an inflection point. In order to compete and achieve sustainable success ATD is undergoing a transformation to become the “most connected and technology-enabled automotive solutions provider”. Core to that transformation is to become a data-driven technology company that treats data as an asset and analytics as a core competency. Hear from Tim Eisenmann, ATD’s Chief Analytics Officer, how his company has taken “analytics by the horns” and created an industry-leading advanced analytics center-of-excellence (CoE) that is core to what ATD is today.

TOPIC: Simplifying Care Coordination for Charlotte’s Homeless Community

Charlotte’s Homeless Service Providers are caught in a sea of federal funding requirements and crisis management. An outdated technical framework makes the environment all the more difficult to navigate. In order to make real-time, actionable decisions, their data needs to be synthesized in a way that is not currently possible. The ABD Society has partnered with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Continuum of Care to explore how we can use data to make better decisions and provide better care to our region’s homeless population.
